Your eyes are not deceiving you! We had our first snowstorm of the season up in the Rockies last night. I woke up to winter wonderland with six inches of snow on the ground.

The first Saturday Sky picture is taken from my deck facing east. The distant mountain is Pikes Peak under cloud cover. You can barely distinguish between the top of the mountain and the sky.

I had to post a second Saturday Sky picture because the view from the front of my house had a very different sky. It was bright blue and clear. Isn’t that wild?

  2. How beautiful! I can’t wait for ours to start here in Maine, and with temps into the 30s now at night, it shouldn’t be too far behind.

  4. Beautiful! I was in Reno this week and it was brrrrrr! At home on the coast they were having a heat wave — most unusual for us. Go figure!

  5. This CO kid in AZ misses home from your pictures. Wash in the 90’s here yesterday. Where are you? maybe down near Bailey? Gorgeous wherever.
