Are you ready for Socktoberfest? It is only two days away!
I think I mentioned in a previous post that my goal for Socktoberfest is to learn how to knit socks from the toe-up. The Ozknitter and I have created a blog for that very purpose. We have some toe-up patterns and tutorials already set up and now we just need some participants!

I am working on my first toe-ups right now. I’m in the middle of the heel. It has been challenging for me. Maybe I’ll join for incentive to finish them. 🙂
I’ve knitted one pair of toe-ups but wasn;t happy with them as I cast off too tightly. I was new to sock knitting and just followed the pattern rather than understand what was happening. I may have to join to make my first (proper) toe-ups
I can’t wait for Socktoberfest to start! Saddly I’ve signed up for a toe-up class at my lys. It doesn’t start till November *sigh*

I’m seriously considering joining. I’ve never knit toe up, I’m soooo used to cuff down. I don’t know if I really want to mess with the sock making formula my sister taught me. But, on the other hand, learning something new is good.
