In the rhythm of the needles there is music for the soul
Not really. Not anymore, at least! The blizzard has abated and it looks like we only got about eleven inches instead of the anticipated two feet. Yesterday was a very exhausting day. I drove my daughter’s college friend down to the airport hoping to get her on an earlier flight home before the storm hit but, we didn’t quite make it. All flights cancelled. We were out fighting the blizzard for seven hours but arrived safely home to a warm house where we then slept all afternoon (exhausted). Hurrah for SUV’s!
I’m supposed to pick up my parents from the airport tonight but am not too optimistic about making it back down the mountain. DH made hotel reservations for them tonight and hopefully, we will ‘dig out’ by tomorrow morning. Plowing our neighborhood is priority three and, since we are one mile from the road, at the very top , we won’t be able to get out for a while.
All is well………………my daughter has taught her friend to knit………so, what more could you want?
I have thought of you as I hear of the big Colorado storm. Stay warm! And – knit, knit, knit that stash away!!
We in Iowa are experiencing the warmest weather in years…. No white Christmas for us this year. I didn’t even wear a coat to work this morn.
I am also debating Wendy’s stash challenge. She has a sock yarn excemption, however!! So – one big loop-hole for me….
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!
