Mystery Monkey Socks – Part 6

Break off grey yarn and attach natural.  The Round starts at the instep.

Needle 1:  (instep) 18 sts

Needle 2:  (instep) 18 sts

Needle 3:  16 sts

Needle 4:  16 sts

Slip first stitch of Needle 1 to Needle 4.

Slip last stitch of Needle 2 to Needle 3. 

Now you will have 17 sts on each needle.

Round 1:

Needle 1:  K1, ssk, K to end of needle.

Needle 2:  K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.

Needle 3:  K1, ssk, K to end of needle.

Needle 4:  K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.

Round 2:

Knit to end of each needle.

Repeat Rounds 1 and 2 five more times ending with 44 sts.

Decrease Round – Repeat this round every round until you have 16 sts left.

Needle 1:  K1, ssk, K to end of needle.

Needle 2:  K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.

Needle 3:  K1, ssk, K to end of needle.

Needle 4:  K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
