In the rhythm of the needles there is music for the soul
When I saw the Sweetheart Socks in Interweave Knits Holiday Knits, I KNEW they were destined to become my Valentine Day socks. And, when I received a beautiful red skein of Dream in Color Smooshy for Christmas, I knew it was destined to be used to knit the Sweetheart Socks!
So…… where ARE my Sweetheart Socks? They have not been cast on. How many days left until Valentine’s Day? SIX. Guess who is putting all other knitting aside so that she can knit a pair of Sweetheart Socks in six days? ME!
Stay tuned for a Valentine’s Day report! Wish me luck!
A pair of socks in six days? Not impossible by any means! You are doing so well on your Top Ten Stash Busters list that you can take a break and work on these lovely socks.
good luck, I love that pattern too 🙂
I love that pattern, and have some smooshy in stash, so looking forward to seeing what you think of the yarn and pattern combo:-)
Six days……….yeah, no probs;-)
Oh Good Luck!!! I can’t wait to see the pretty sweethearts. I’ve been thinking about knitting them myself and it will be wonderful to see yours!

You can do it!
It is beautiful pattern and I wish you good luck! I have read very good comments about “Smooshy”. Let us know what you think.
What a great idea for Valentines. What a perfect pattern and yarn, can’t wait to see them knitted up.
Wow they look like so much fun!
You can do it! Let’s see, that’s a sock every 3 days; you should be a third the way through the first sock by now!
Omigosh. I thought myself nutty to consider the exact same thing! Now you go and decide to do it and I feel (somewhat) compelled to join you…maybe the feeling will pass. Good Luck!!!
Can’t wait to see you finish the, probably with time to spare.
Good luck! I know you can do it.
Pretty pattern!
