In the rhythm of the needles there is music for the soul
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me –
A Partridge in a Pear Tree
The Christmas knitting has been gifted and all recipients were pleased with their gifts, or so they said.
Allison’s Koolhaas in Malabrigo Worsted
A new year is only a few days away and is a time to reflect on all I’ve accomplished this year with my needles and all the UFOs that are left lingering on stitch holders. The Twelve Days of UFOs is a great way to get some of those projects completed before the new year begins. I would love to start that year with a fairly empty knitting basket.
The first item that needs attention is the Knotty But Nice Hat that I had hoped to have finished for Christmas. When I selected the pattern the cables looked simple enough to be a quick knit but it is actually a bit more involved. I’m using up stash yarn for this hat which is another of my goals for 2010.
What a lofty goal (at least it would be for me.). I love your gift projects. That Knotty or Nice Hat is so beautiful. You didn’t make a link–can you send me the source? Thanks. All the best wishes to you for the new Year 2010.
Allison looks very pretty in her Koolhaus hat. Good luck with your UFO’s! BTW, I like Nisse too.(vbg)
