In the rhythm of the needles there is music for the soul
Over the weekend I got a hankering for a neck-warmer, not a scarf to wrap around my neck but a pretty, lacy neck-warmer. There was one particular neck-warmer I had in mind, too – Ivy Vines.
This was a relatively quick project and enjoyable enough to knit again. Some cashmere would be nice, really nice and I happen to have some in my stash. But this time around I used alpaca and it is soft enough.
Pattern: Ivy Vines by Anne Hanson
Pattern Source: Knitspot
Yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light (color 4201)
Needles: size 5 (3.75mm) and size 4 (3.5mm) circular
It looks so warm and soft, just love it. I admire most of the Anne Hanson patterns though.
Thanks for all your sweet comments, Sylvia! Have a nice day!
This is so pretty. I will have to make it soon. Hopefully with something soft like you did.

Isn’t it just a perfect neck-warmer? I bet yours is warm and soft in alpaca!
I have learned you can NEVER go wrong with alpaca. Your neck warmer is lovely.
