In the rhythm of the needles there is music for the soul
My love for the Sock Knitting Master Class book has not diminished, the Almondine pattern was another splendid pattern. Not quite as difficult as the Asymmetrical Socks or the Pussy Willow Socks, the Almondine pattern was a simple pattern with a small degree of openwork. I can’t say I really learned anything new with this pair.
Although these socks look like they are an allover lace pattern which can be quite complicated, there is really only one yarn over worked in each pattern repeat. The lace panels are staggered and that is what makes it look like an ‘allover’ pattern.
