Mum is a Busy Sewer

Watching podcasts has inspired me to sew project bags again.

I’ve always enjoyed sewing project bags for my many knitting projects but now, even more so.IMG_5411 I think it is because there are many lovely fabrics out there and, although I no longer make garments for myself (never say never), I long to make something with these fabrics.  A project bag for my knitting makes perfect sense to me.

As I play with fabric I will make a few for others and put them in the Socks-for-Mum long neglected Etsy shop.

Long ago I made and sold quilted needle keepers.  This was several years back so re-opening the shop will have a learning curve.  And, there will not be mass production but just a few lovelies now and again.

As soon as some sweet little foxes arrive these project bags will be put in the shop.  The foxes will be made into progress keepers and will be attached to the zipper pulls with a lobster clasp.
